Our screens are hand crafted, very high quality and are made to last for generations. Most are made of mild steel and are designed to be installed inside the fireplace opening with the border to be mortared for a finished look. A basic, small, rectangular, built-in screen starts out about $3,000 and the price goes up from there. Arch top screens are more expensive than flat top, patina finishes are more expensive than brushed steel, smooth finishes are a bit more than textured. The more detailed the applique involved in the design the more expensive the screen and, of course, the larger screens are pricier.
